Videos play with a blank screen since upgrade to Windows 10
I upgraded to Windows 10 and now videos don't display in Firefox. I can see the still screen, but when I click "Play," it goes black. I can hear the sound, and the video is playing, but the screen remains black. This has happened on Facebook, as well as YouTube.
I've also had a similar problem using Google Sheets. When I first open the sheet, all the info is displayed, but within a second or two, it goes blank. The data is still there (I can see it in the text edit bar when I click on a particular cell), but the sheet appears blank. Same thing with PDFs -- some of the data displays (e.g., graphics) but the main bulk of the text does not.
It seems to me that all of these issues are related, but I'm not sure how. I did switch to viewing PDFs in browser via Adobe, which fixed the PDF issue, but not the others.

ok thanks, nothing out of order with your display driver there (which would have been my first suspect). obviously scripts from your greasemonkey addon would have the power to edit (&also screw up) page content, so it might be worth keeping an eye on that and keep it disabled in case the issue is reappearing...

hello, could you go to the firefox menu ≡ > help ? > troubleshooting information, copy the contents of that page and paste them here into a reply on the forum? this might give us a clue what is going on...
Thanks! I posted about the problem with Sheets on the Google forum yesterday (before I realized there was more going on than that). They had me turn off plugins and extensions and that fixed Sheets and the video issues too. I turned the ext/plugins back on one at a time, and the problem never came back, so I don't know what the actual issue was, but it seems to be fixed for now.
