Hi imansoor, Sorry you are having problems with Firefox.

It seems the crash type is getting more frequent and may be something to do with Graphics drivers.

Try in Firefox's safe mode does that stop the crashes ? One method you can use to start in Safe mode by holding down the keyboard Shift key whilst clicking on the Firefox icon

If so a workaround may be to disable hardware acceleration. You could also consider trying updating your graphics drivers, or conversely rolling them back to an earlier version.

If this does turn out to be a problem that is new in Firefox 29 then one work around to get you a working Firefox browser would be to temporarily install the third party unofficial build of Firefox Portable ESR as an additional browser. That is easily done and does not affect the ordinary install of Firefox

Pleas post back to say how you get on and what you have tried.

Hi John, Thank you for the quick reply. I have started fire fox by holding shift key and it has started fine without error, but off course this is not the permanent solution. It has been resolved by rolling back the graphics driver. Now its starting perfectly without any error or crash screen.

Thanks John your reply really helped.

Glad that helped.

Do you happen to know the driver versions involved in your case.

I know there is a bug open on this, and presumably they will have some data already.

I also note you are only on Firefox 28 you should have updated to Firefox 29.0.1 by now

Firefox will be updating again to Firefox 30 within a couple of weeks.
