I am having problems with missing text in emails that I have sent through my yahoo mail account. When I go to my sent folder the only text from my message body that is there is "Good Afternoon" the rest of the message is hidden. When I print it out, all of the hidden text will print! I have opened this same sent email in different browsers; google chrome, and internet explorer and I do not have this problem; all text is visable. I am currently using Firefox 23.0.1. I have tried these solutions to no avail:

"Clear the Cache":

Firefox > Preferences > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

Firefox > Preferences > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window or otherwise make changes.

Sometimes a problem with Firefox may be a result of malware installed on your computer, that you may not be aware of.

You can try these free programs to scan for malware, which work with your existing antivirus software:

Microsoft Security Essentials is a good permanent antivirus for Windows 7/Vista/XP if you don't already have one.

Further information can be found in the Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware article.

Did this fix your problems? Please report back!

I did a new profile and still have the problem. Also I did a full scan with Kapersky and no threats.

Can you disable all addons thru Firefox button -> Addons

more options

I don't see where to disable all add ons. However when I go to add-ons manager there is a section to get add-ons, so perhaps I don't have any? Also when I go to Extensions, all of the items are disabled (ie anti banner, bing bar, etc)

I did a Kapersky full system scan and no threats were detected.

Have you tried to bypass the cache (reloading the page using Ctrl + F5).

I just tried to bypass the cache, which didn't work

It sounds that the text is present in the page source if printing works, but isn't rendered for some reason.

Does anything show when you try to select the area where the text should be or is that text area cut off?

You can also check the page source or the selection source to see if the missing text is there.
