I am using Firefox V 15.1

I can't get rid of Babylon Search

I have unistalled it and all its variants using appwix.cpl it no longer appears in my programs.

I have reset Firefox, this works initially but babylon returned the next time i opened firefox.

I have run about:config changed the keyword.url to google and then searched for babylon and reset all the strings. babylon still comes back.

I have searched my computer tirelessly for the folder/file no joy.

I can't regedit.exe because i'm unsure exactly which dll relates to babylon.

It was unbelievably easy to remove from IE. Mozilla need to sort this. Otherwise in 2 days time i'm taking to twitter and FB to vent, there will be a knock on effect and it's reasonable to believe that several hundred thousand people will have heard about this and gone back to IE by the middle of next week.

Have you made sure you've uninstalled all Babylon programs from your control Panel? there are several. B-protection, browser manager, etc. I'd go back and see if there is anything suspicious. Also try to scan for malware.

You can try some of the following programs to scan for malware:
