cannot listen to music on music sites - IE works fine
Starting yesterday I can no longer listen to music samples on sites that I purchase music from. Everything works normally on IE but not on Firefox and this is on two different computers. Firefox shows no message about any missing plug-ins. Nothing happens when I press buttons to listen. There is more than one site this is happening on, but a sample is shown below. Hate to have to give up Firefox after years of using it, but I have to be able to listen (I am a choir director and singer). One computer I tried yesterday is Windows XP. The one I'm using today is Windows 7, so it's not the operating system.

Please post back with the sample sites, thanks.

Nothing works at Christwill. I'm now getting music on the other sites. This is the only one not working anymore.
Firefox doesn't understand the mp3: protocol as the link points to:

An easy remedy is to install the IE Tab Plus addon and when switching to the IE engine in Firefox, the site and music plays ok.
To get IE Tab Plus:
Didn't work. The site worked fine until yesterday in Firefox. It works fine in IE and Chrome.
Using IE Tab in FF works the same as IE. Did you change the rendering engine to IE after installing the addon?
No problems here on Firefox with the Flowplayer playing the tracks on that page.
Do you see that Flash player and to controls?
Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
- Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
- Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
