Firefox 95.0.2 will not save history
I do not recall when or how but the other day I attempted to use my history to fine a web page I was at and my history is empty. I do use my history due to my poor memory skills so I am missing it. I found from research that I can look up my data base and verify. This is the result I have here: > Task: checkIntegrity - Unable to check places.sqlite integrity: Error: Error(s) encountered during statement execution: database disk image is malformed > Task: invalidateCaches - The task queue was cleared by an error in another task. > Task: checkCoherence - The task queue was cleared by an error in another task. > Task: expire - The task queue was cleared by an error in another task. > Task: originFrecencyStats - The task queue was cleared by an error in another task. > Task: vacuum - The task queue was cleared by an error in another task. > Task: stats - The task queue was cleared by an error in another task. > Task: _refreshUI - The task queue was cleared by an error in another task.
Can anybody suggest what I need to do? Thank you.

Sorry to hear about this problem. Did you already try doing a normal shutdown and restart of Windows in case this is a file lock or permissions problem?
If the database file has become corrupted, it might not be possible to recover its contents. There is an article about possibly doing that, but if you make regular backups, it might be simpler to look for an older version of the places.sqlite file. Do you have any backups?
Because I can't find the new location of the article, here is a copy from the Wayback Machine on Archive.org:

Fix "The bookmarks and history system will not be functional" error message
I was able to restore my profile database from a back up ...but this back up was a 2019 back up so I lost all previous bookmarks. I did have a firefox account and I do have it sync'd to my phone so I used that to sync from my phone and now I have all my bookmarks back and history working! Thanks!
