I have FF 93.2.0 (Build #2015839747) AC: 93.0.12, e39f5dba3f GV: 93.0-20210927210923 AS: 82.1.0 installed on my Samsung S8 and syncing with FF on my windows 10 laptop. Most of the time FF will autofil passwords on the phone for sites I've previously set up logins for on the laptop. However, it refuses to autofil, or even suggest, passwords for apps for the same companies, despite this feature being enabled in settings. For instance, I am offered autofil for Sainsburys as a browser page, but not the apps. Any ideas? Also, FF for android wont suggest passwords for new sites. I have to set up new accounts on the laptop first. Then FF for android will make the passwords available. Are these issues linked and how can I resolve them?

Hi

Thank you for your feedback. Extending the autofill to other apps on your device is something that we are still adding some extra polish to. You can follow some of the work at https://github.com/mozilla-mobile/fenix/issues/21379
