WHY IS THE GOOGLE PLAY STORE BLOCKING Firefox Focus? I use it on another Android device and LOVE IT! Is GOOGLE AFRAID of the competition? It is SHOWN in the "Store Library", but now says "NOT SUPPORTED" if one tries to download it?

Now I can't find a working FOCUS apk?.. I have found versions for download from other locations but they both say "parsing error". Versions FIREFOX FOCUS-4-2 and FIREFOX FOCUS-5.0-213... both fail with the same parsing error?

Personally, I think MOZILLA should ALWAYS have ALL current FIREFOX versions available directly from the Site. Who needs Play Store and talk about unfair competition!

FIREFOX should *NEVER* be at the mercy of GOOGLE.

Hi

What version of Android do you have installed on your device?

Hey SOGLAD5! We never heard back from you. We'd really like to know what version of Android you were on when the Play Store blocked you from downloading Focus. That really shouldn't happen unless it deemed your Android version too low or your phone incompatible. But I'm not aware of any Android phones we don't support.

And I agree that all Firefox products should be available for download from the main site. I'll see if we can surface the Github hosted versions of our new mobile products better on Mozilla.org.

For you & others: You can definitely download it without using Google Play. Install it from here: https://github.com/mozilla-mobile/focus-android/releases https://github.com/mozilla-mobile/focus-android/releases/download/V6.0-RC5/Focus.apk
