Height of Tabs Bar reduced after switching user

I'm using Firefox 29.0.1 on Windows 8.1. I have 2 user accounts on my computer. Both accounts are mine and I sometimes switch between them. However, when I switch between accounts and return to the original one the height of the Tabs Bar is reduced.

As there appears to be no way of posting a screenshot in a new thread please see http://imgur.com/YylR8hg

For that matter, I've noticed I don't even have to log in to another account. All I have to do to reproduce this bug is do as if I'm switching to another user but instead sign back in to the same user account.

How do I report a bug? Is this the correct venue for reporting bugs?

TIA

Hi!

As far as I know, this is a minor kink in Firefox's new Australis interface. I'm not sure if the bug has been filed yet; Mozilla's bug-files can be found here.

For now, you can try to fix Firefox temporarily by clicking "Restore Down" (the button to the left of the orange Windows "Exit" button) and then clicking it again. I'm sorry that it's not a permanent fix; it's the best I can do. Stay tuned on this thread, though; other Firefox Support members might have better information.

I hope that solved your problem!

If it did, would you please choose this answer as your solution? It would help other Firefox users to find help on the forums faster and more efficiently. Thanks!

And of course, feel free to post back if you need more help!

Happy browsing!

Thanks for the quick reply Epicaleb.

"Restore down" does the trick to restore the tab, however, the tingamjig with the "X" to close still isn't restored. I'm attaching a screenshot to show what I mean. I know it's a minor thing but I thought it would be appreciated if it is brought to Mozilla's attention.

Wow, yikes! I've never seen that before. Hopefully (I can't guarantee fixes because I'm not a Firefox developer), this will be smoothed out in a future update.

Yes, hopefully, but they won't know to "smooth it out" if they don't know about it. It's not a big thing to me but I thought I'd just let the developers know. Hello developers, are you listening?
