ATTN jscher2000 and anushbmx: Multiple sites loading
i get multiple sites trying to load jsher2000 and anushbmx suggested two fixes:
I reset my home page by dragging the icon in front of my homepage site to the FF icon on the right. I want just my hotmail email page as my homepage. It does not have an icon to drag, nor is there a FF icon on the right to drag it to.
regarding anushbmx's fix, how do i get into Firefox>general (tab)>startup? many thanks.
On another issue, why cant i drag my bookmarks to order them as i want to?
Thanks again RPC

Now, about the bookmarks... Which of these many places are you trying to rearrange your bookmarks?
- Bookmarks Toolbar
- Bookmarks Menu (drop-down menu)
- Bookmarks Sidebar (opens/closes using Ctrl+b)
- Library dialog (opens using Ctrl+Shift+b or "Show All Bookmarks")
Changes you make in the Library dialog are not necessarily reflected on the actual menu/sidebar/toolbar. It's easier to work with the toolbar and sidebar directly.

If you only have one tab open with the desired page then you can set the home page in in Firefox > Options:
- Firefox/Tools > Options > General > Startup: Home page
You can either drag the tab of the globe/padlock (Site Identity Button) on left end of the location bar on the toolbar Home button to set this single tab as the home page.
Hi, the background on this is in your earlier thread here: multiple websites loading across top of page at once.
Could I suggest first opening Hotmail in its own window. If you have multiple tabs open, you can separate a tab into its own window by right-clicking the tab and choosing Move to New Window.
Then open the Options dialog to the General tab and delete the home page URL list that's there now:
orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Options > General
Then click the the "Use Current Pages" button. You'll notice it is plural, and this is why we had to separate Hotmail from other tabs: it grabs all tabs in the window.
That should do it. Just click OK to finish.
