I followed this: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-hangs-or-not-responding

Tried almost everything there, still hangs for 5 - 30 seconds randomly. It could happen 1 minute into using Firefox or a few hours in. Its random. Help is appreciated. Thanks.

Chosen solution

So the browser is freezing, not crashing. And Safe Mode does not help.

Start your Computer in safe mode with network support. Then start Firefox. Try Secure websites. Is the problem still there?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link}

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

While still in Safe Mode,

In the address bar, type about:crashes<enter>. Note: If any reports do not have BP- in front of the numbers/letters, click it to submit them.

The crash report is several pages of data. We need the report numbers to see the whole report.

Hello,

I started Firefox in Safe Mode, it still happened. Also, the most recent crash report was on 16/12/2018, which this problem did not occur during that time. Nevertheless, here is the list of crash reports:

Ah, my mistake. Sorry for the misinformation. I did what you said. After 30 minutes of watching youtube videos (most commonly freezes when I do this), Firefox didn't freeze. What do I do now?

Thanks.

Surprisingly after that, Firefox stopped freezing. I've been using it for more than an hour straight and it didn't freeze. Not sure if I'm just lucky or what but will reply when it does happen again.
