My computer and my droid automatically sign in to my email. I don't remember my email password. I would like to add a 'forward' from another cox email to my default email and I have to sign in with a password....that I don't remember and cannot find anywhere to change my password.

Your password is administered with your email provider. Contact them to reset a forgotten password.
You can see what you told Thunderbird to remember and enter for you by going to...
Options-Security-Passwords-Saved Passwords
Click show passwords.
Thunderbird has nothing to do with forwarding your emails. You would do that at your providers web ail site.
