I have version 52.5.2 (32 bit) running on Windows 10. I have had it hang before, but this problem continues with this latest version.
Constant hanging with Thunderbird since upgrade to Win 10 Pro 64bit. Am now running Thunderbird's latest version 52.5.2 (32bit) and the problem is still there. It's most annoying as it never happened using Win 7.

Windows 10 does seem to introduce more issues.
