Hi All, I'm planning to install Firefox ESR in our corporate environment with automatic updates. I have a situation were the update maintenance service is downloading an update but the updates are not being applied as the users don't have access to install software. Can someone please provide some assistance on how to get around this?

Sorry that you haven't received a response yet.

This Firefox support forum is intended for end user support, but if one of the advanced contributors is familiar with the topic an answer is usually forthcoming; but that hasn't happened in 4 days now.

I can't help myself, although I do use the ESR 38.0 version, I have never done a corporate / institutional type of installation.

Here are couple of resources that I bookmarked which might be able to help you.

FrontMotion has been providing MSI deployment packages for at least a decade now. http://www.frontmotion.com/ And they have a Firefox MSI support forum here: http://forums.frontmotion.com/viewforum.php?f=10&sid=ddb16cf2080fe10cea05997bb28c6829

Also, Mike Kaply has been doing "enterprise" with Firefox for quite awhile now, but no user support fora (that I have found). https://mike.kaply.com/category/mozilla/ But I don't know about his availability to do consulting for new clients right now . I read somewhere that he would be taking a full-time position with Mozilla.
