When I try to open a new tab, it's opening a 'trash' link...

When I use the new tab command or the plus sign in the tab bar, the new tab opens to http://ww1.cherchi.biz/.

I recently added the 'No Script' add-on bc scripts were always having problems and I would have to force-quit Firefox. This seems to have corrected that. But I am having to allow scripts on a page by page basis. But I'm winging it and figuring that out as I go.

Any thoughts on how to get my blank tab back? I also did add the 'New Tab Overrride' add-on. That didn't correct the situation. Everything I can find in my preferences indicate that a blank tab should be opening. Firefox updated last night; this hadn't happened prior to the update but I also can't recall for certain that I've tried to open a new blank tab since adding the 'No Script' add-on.

Any suggestions would be MOST appreciated!!
