I have an email that keeps repeating on my thunderbird email server. No other emails can come in. This is not happening on my email provider, just my thunderbird program on my pc. I have contacted the entity emailing me and they say that I will not receive any more emails. I went directly to their website. I can get emails on my iPhone but not on my pc after this one I am talking about. I have deleted my email address from Thunderbird and then rebooted and reinstalled it. It installed 4,000 plus emails but once again it stops at the one dated 01/15/18. By the way, I have deleted this email approximately 300 times so far.

Log into your providers web mail and delete everything in the spam folder on their server. Then try again.

Thank you for your answer though. This is my first support out of Mozilla.

usually this issue has one of two causes. The root cause is a malformed mail, usually spam. he secondary cause is usually an anti virus that can not cope with the malformed mail. in Either case the most direct route is to delete spam as a starting point. But did it work for you?

That didn't work Matt. So sad. I did check to delete the spam on the servers website and the email didn't show up there nor in the spam or delete folders.

ok two more things to try.

Disable email checking in your anti virus program.

If that does not work, using date and time as a guide. delete whatever appears t be the next email in the queue on the server. Sorry I can not be precise, but this is one of those fumble in the dark type things.
