How do I send a group of recipients' addresses to someone else?

more options

I regularly send out messages to groups of recipients (5 to 50 in size). Someone is taking over part of my work; how do I send him a group of addresses without having to type all of them out again? I've tried looking at a group of addresses in "addresses", highlighting its contents and pressing cntrl-C; but pressing cntrl-V in the body of an e-mail to him doesn't work.

You can export complete address books or individual Mailing Lists.

If these groups are already in mailing lists in you address book open the address book window and click the list folder to highlight it. Then go to Tools-Export.

Then name the file, select where to save it and decide what file format the new person can use.

LDIF is best if they are a Thunderbird user. Comma Separated works with most and can be opened in Excel to view or edit.

Then send then the file.

Exporting your address books is a good way to back them up in case of problems later too.
