video lags, 1 solution is build in flash plugin like in waterfox or chrome
video lags, 1 solution is build in flash plugin like in waterfox or chrome, its impossible for user to fix, my OS: Win 8.1 all worked fine in waterfox until update 35.0, it got memory leak after that, well it had small memory leak before, but after last update id got worse
i have tried meany things, & i'm not talking about YouTube, i'm talking about anime watching AuEngien & MP4Upload as 2 examples
i have 1sec or 2sec video freeze & then it speeds up to make even the 1sec - 2sec
Solution eye eponami
I figured out how to make Flash run in a single core of your CPU without having to change the affinity in Task Manager manually! You can re-enable protected mode of Flash now. Just follow my instructions on how to disable protected mode except change the value of the setting to False. To make Flash run in a single core, follow the instructions in this video (I put this together "quickly" so forgive me. It actually took me one and a half of an hour to complete it which you probably wouldn't have guessed alone because it looks like a 6 year old put it together): http://youtu.be/F210MyTgZZE Just a quick note: if you update Adobe Flash Player, you might need to repeat the process that I showed you in the video after updating it.

I think that your Firefox memory usage is normal. My Firefox uses 324 MB of memory.
it would be normal if it starts over 200MB & then goes over 300MB for a moment when choosing new video & then goes back to over 200MB, i don't think its normal that memory usage only grows without releasing memory, in in old fox in old pc 2007, memory usage 45MB or 60MB , something like that & it released memory after it jumped to higher for a moment & went back to 45MB, if i would watch series longer i bet it would grow even more then what i mentioned before
also my memory usage was with 3 tabs, bookmarks myanimelins & video, this are the 3 tabs, with this its normally over 200MB, 250MB - 270MB, but with each new video/EP it grows without releasing memory

no idea is it like 6year old's, cause i am not advanced user & what u did is over my lvl, i'm not good with complicated stuff :D, so i would not be able to do things like this, it could help others to, nice work
it was funny, when protection mode was disabled i had to do it to Plugin-Container.exe
that limiting the core helps that means its not spybot issue, but i guess it can be issue between Flas fox & Win 8.1, some how all 3 have a small issue that all 3 together make it in to larger issue, that's my guess, i wish that they would roll back, but not security stuff, i bet that would solve meany issues with fox & flash, like memory leak
with water fox memory usage started from 300MB & ended with 1.4GB & that when it had a hit on Foxes performance & had lags, like small crash for a sec when i did something, that also shows that there is a issue in newer Mozilla build, issues i had with waterfox make me uneasy in firefox to, cause if this leak caused performance issues there then it can do it here to if memory usage goes to much UP, water fox had no video lag, that is one difference with firefox
its painful to see how flash & firefox have gone downhill, i had no issues with it in 2006 & 7, well only when i installed things & did not pay attention to installation & installed so meany toolbars that it was even hard to open fox to remove them, & friend wanted to brows & said WTF i have done, no wonder the browser feels like SH when u have so meany toolbars, i was a lot newbier back then, had no idea toolbars can do that & that programs have junk with them, junk like toolbars
Mozilla team should really investigate the issue with cores, why it dose have issue with so meany cores in some systems, is some computers, flash team should do the same, then they can find out is it fox issue or flash issue or win issue

HTML5 cinema mode this happens sometimes http://i3.minus.com/i4ZWjuHdbrTh8.png, it may happen in normal mode to, not sure, cause i'm mostly on cinema mode
also no idea whats that about, but sometimes sound vol goes up & then down again, & no, video player vol bar does not change & my pc vol bar same, it happens often & next time same video it starts with higher vol & sometimes lower vol, i guess the issue can be anything, HTML5 Flash or sound drives?
but i wonder can a issue in browser or in flash or hml5 effect vol in hole win, master vol that effects all in win? i call it master cause its called that in games, so i figured its easy to understand what i mean like that, at least its not to loud, like loud that makes people jump :D, that's the + side of it

What website is that? YouTube?
If you're having problems with volumes being too high and too low at times, you can try enabling Loudness Equalization. http://www.ghacks.net/2014/04/02/enable-sound-loudness-equalization-windows/
Firefox does use a lot of memory, but Waterfox uses much more memory. When browsing normally, Waterfox can use as much as 1+ GB of memory. I wouldn't recommend Waterfox for a slow computer.

At least your Flash player problem is solved. I still don't understand what was causing Flash to lag, because you have a pretty decent graphics card. It could be related to your CPU, actually, because I have a quad-core system and it doesn't have a problem with Flash player.

You're right about Firefox's memory usage. When you first start it, it's around 300 MB, but it'll go to 350+ MB once you do something that causes Flash player to start, like watching a YouTube video. It gradually decreases after you close the tab using Flash player.

I asked you if the video player that you uploaded a screenshot of was YouTube because YouTube's video player should not look like that, and if the screenshot is of YouTube, an add-on that you have installed on Firefox could be changing the YouTube player and causing the issues you had.

i don't know is it youtube cause it is random picture that i used as example to show the issue i have in youtube, to show that the picture was not in full-screen of the player in cinema mode, that it was like in this picture, i guess who took the picture cut out the rest so only player is on the picture, but it seems to be a bit older ver of youtube
but this thing does not happen all the time

& my issue is that once it goes up it stays up & grows until i close video tab & it goes down only max 50MB-100MB & when i start again it starts to grow, i i would be up 24/7 it would grow to over 1GB if not more, so that is an problem, i mean a bug, it should not behave like that, but at least it has not caused performance issues, yet, my PC is not slow, the issue is that with waterfox, when i had it i so that it goes way out of control & hits performance, but only browser performance, i have 8GB ram

yea its weird, in 1 forum people said that there is an issue that windows have the way flash uses dual core sys, something like this & its i7 issue, but i have i5 :D, i doubt that even specialist can figure it out cause there are meany thing that could be the culprits, it would take years i think, unless they have software that can really dig in to program & analyze them

That is a very strange problem. It would be reasonable if the RAM usage went up while you were watching videos, but if you just leave Firefox idle with no Flash player and the amount of RAM it uses gradually increases, that's not supposed to happen.

i just need to mark it in here http://www.moreprocess.com/wp-content/images/operating-systems/Speakers%20Properties%20dialog%20box%20in%20Windows%208.png, on that list? this picture is just like my settings window, only differences, the one who made this picture has more option so he can scroll down, but i have same settings then he has, & same sound card, i mean the setting marked in right side
well i marked it, is that all i had to do?

well it does not grow when i am not watching, but when i close the video tab after watching it goes down so little & when i start to watch again it starts to grow, if i would close the tab often & then reopen to watch it would be like 2 step ahead & 1 back & that's bad, back steps should be at 2 to then it good, that way it continues growing until i restart fox
previous post about the same subject there is 2 i, one should be if, typing error
some in 2014 forums said that they have leak even when browser is opened, when 2 or more tabs are opened & user is AFK, i don't have that issue, when i have 2 or 3 tabs opened & i am AFK it stays where it last was, but maybe that's fixed or it was caused by something in their pc, like software, but afk memory growing i have never experienced

u mean if i get flash update i need to redo this steps on ur video?
Equalization did not seem to have any effect, when i started to watch video vol went up, it is at 30% but it sounded more then 30%, even 25% sound a bit louder then 30% was before, i marked it, i have second Equalization option in Alianware Audio to, is it for gaming, or does this effect me to? to bad i can't find picture from it, i planned to link it here
EDIT: that had no effect neither seems that awry time i start video sound changes to louder, but sometimes it takes a bit time, like until i pause video, i do that cause anime subs are to fast for me, when when i come out of pause it is louder, after that i watched meany EP & sound was same, but louder then when i started video, so it remains in that vol lvl, same thing happens when i watch on youtube HTML5
settings in alienware audio there are settings speaker enchant & it turned on, maybe it is glitched, in games i have no issues, vol in game is like i set in game, i go sleep, but i mite test it after i slept, i mean test turning it off
Ezalaki modifié
speaker enchant turned off only reduced the issue, vol goes up less new, not as loud as before, but it still happens
i tested with VLC player, when i copy URL from youtube & play it with VLC no effect on the sound, only when i watch online, dose it mean browser is messing with the sound? & could it be cause i had protection mode disabled once? u know when u told to try it to solve the lag issue
