Opening links in a new tab will also load the link on the currnt tab. temporamental problem that comes and goes. Happens using google links as well sometimes.

Also the SafeSearch feature on google has locked itself on strict, not too much of a problem, but happend at the same time my links and tabs stopped working how I want.

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
