How can I disable the Private Browsing facilty? My son has discovered that blocked web-sites in Norton Safety Minder can be viewed using Private Browsing.
I am running Norton Safety Minder on my computer because my son is only 13. I have discovered, however, that by using Private Browsing ALL restrictions are by-passed. That is ANY website can be viewed, even specifically blocked ones.

This extension disables Private Browsing, hides all the PB menu items and disables the keyboard control.

This extension can only be disabled when in Safe Mode. This extension is only a simple fix. A technical savvy user will still be able to start Private Browsing.
Install a router with a password protected logging feature if you want to keep record of all internet traffic.
All measures on the browser side can easily be bypassed, especially when done via extensions.
Private Browsing mode shouldn't have that effect if that security software is working properly because PB mode prevents data from being saved to disk and nothing more.
