Hi - i have almost successfully migrated from Window Live Mail 2011 TO Thunderbird 78, have got all emails, storage folders, account, etc, setup BUT -- trying to import MULTIPLE (like 5000 .ics files -- 10 years worth of calendar events) into Thunderbird 78 -- i understand in Thunderbird > Events and Tasks > Import > Choose the .ics file i saved to disk... and it works (in Windows 10, i changed the default email program to Thunderbird AND the default .ics extension to be handled by Thunderbird) BUT HOW DO I IMPORT MULTIPLE .ICS FILES ??? not 1 at a time... i have > 5000

i looked into ImportExportToolsNG (helped with alot) but not .ics calendar events

is there a way to do this ?

There are several instructions for merging multiple ics files, depending on the OS. Try one of these for Linux:
