how ctrl+j only open a download tab(about:download) not download window?
is it possible to make it so that when i give the command ctrl + j firefox opens a download tab instead of a download window?

about:downloads only opens if you are in a Private Browsing mode window. In a regular window you get the Library, so if you want to open about:downloads in a regular window then you need to use a bookmark and can't use a keyboard shortcut.
