Hi, I have just installed Firefox on both my phone and PC. Both are awesome and working best for me. Firefox for Android significantly improved. Unlock origin is awesome specifically for language specific filter lists . Tracking block causes smoothing browsing experience. Ul is clean. In general, I want to replace it with Chrome on both the phone and the PC. But one basic problem: Sync does not work unless the VPN is on! My region is iran. Google Sync and Edge Sync work fine without VPN except Firefox Sync! Thanks in advance for considering this issue.

Hi, for me it looks like a regional ban of our sync servers.

Hi, Thanks for reply. If this is a problem because the Firefox Sync server has blocked my region, I'm really sorry for Mozilla!! Why should Mozilla do that when Google and Microsoft have not done so?!

I'm really guessing here, but MS and Google have their servers outside USA.

Thanks for your guidance. But I'm not a professional user and I don't understand well these error lists. But I think your guess is correct. Mozilla has blocked my region for syncing unfortunately

It's not mozilla. It's a state ban, not sure if it's US or Iran.

After updating the Android version of Firefox to version 80, I realized that the sync feature works without VPN. it's good. But in the desktop version, You still need to turn on VPN to sync! I hobe Mozilla fix the problem in the desktop version as well. My region is Iran. Thanks

Is Mozilla kidding?! After I said that the sync problem has been fixed in version 80 of Firefox for Android, and I expressed my hope that this problem will be solved in the desktop version as well, in less than a day, Mozilla not only did not solve the problem of the desktop version, but restored it to the Android version too!!! Congratulations to Mozilla for all the attention to user feedback! Before this case, I might have been able to deal with it somehow, but now I will definitely not use Firefox again because of the disrespect I feel for myself and the users in my region.

Update: Now, the sync feature works well on both Android and desktop versions without the need for VPN! I hope this continues. I really like to use Firefox instead of switching to Brave or Vivaldi
