Windows 10 update 1803, Firefox 60.0.1, Surface Pro 3 using the pen

With the changes in Windows update 1803 I tried Firefox again. The touch keyboard / handwriting input panel popping up is working but the right click (click and hold on the pen) does not work. A click and hold on a link is very slow to respond compared to other apps and selects the word at the same time as bringing up the context menu. Additionally, the context menu is much larger than normal due to white space padding all lines on the menu. The white space is not found if I right click on a UI element or in other programs (including but not limited to other browsers). Finally, when a selection is made in the context menu it will sometimes pass a left click on to whatever is below the context menu at that point.

Did you check the driver for the Pen to be sure something wasn't change by Windows? That would seem the likely place to first look.

The pen right click behavior did not change in Chrome or Bluemoon with the windows 1803 update. Because I have not used Firefox regularly I can not say when it started this behavior although it was not doing it in Jan.

I would think you mean Palemoon as Bluemoon is a add-on.

Go to the Firefox 3 Bar Menu --> Options --> Privacy & Security then under Permissions uncheck the setting to prevent Accessibility Services from accessing your browser. Note : this can cause extreme ram and cpu usage and that also means heat.

Please let us know if that worked out.

Having accessibility services checked or unchecked makes no difference.

Unconnected but a reinstall of FF doesn't change anything.
