When a PDF of a web page is created, it is read-only. I need to be able to edit downloaded PDFs (e.g. add highlighting). Is there a way to make editable PDFs??
When a PDF of a web page is created in Firefox, it is read-only. After downloading the PDF, it is not possible to make any edits to it, such as highlighting text. Is there a way to change the PDF settings in Firefox so that the PDFs created are not read-only?

Every PDF is editable, you just need some software that can edit PDFs.
Files that you open in a external application are saved to the Windows temp folder and are set to read-only. You will have to use "Save as" to save the file to another folder since the existence of files in the temp folder is not guaranteed (this folder might be cleaned up).
