How to stop sending bar from showing on Thunderbird 45.1.0
Every time I send an e mail or send a reply, this stupid sending bar appears. How does one stop this.

It has always been there as far as I know? Was your experience different?
You probably want to activate Send In Background. Open Tools/Options/Advanced/General/Config. editor and set the preferences described here:
