Can you inspect the downloads in the Downloads Manager?
- Tools > Downloads or History > Show All History > Downloads folder in left pane
- Tap the Alt key or press F10 to show the Menu Bar
Make sure that you do not run Firefox in permanent Private Browsing mode (Never remember history).
