in firefox 3 you can drag drop a url into a directory to get a link there, how is this done in ff 4?

In ff3 you highlight the url then drag it to a directory and drop it and you get a web link there. I want the same function in ff4. I use Win7.

Hit CTRL+B to open Bookmark's in the sidebar, then drag the site's Favicon (the ID to the left of the URL) to the location you want it to appear.

That doesn't work for me. That's how I always did it, but it has just stopped working and is very frustrating!
