Pretty much the title. When I maximize firefox, the taskbar (which I autohide) won't show up when I mouse at the bottom of the screen. In chrome or outlook or excel it will show fine. If I cannot fix this easily I'll just switch to opera or chrome.

I'm currently running Windows 10 with the taskbar autohide setting as well and I have none of the issues that you have described.

I assume that Firefox is not running in fullscreen mode? If the top of the Firefox browser also automatically hides when you are browsing, then you are running in fullscreen mode and need to press F11 on the keyboard to return to regular windowed mode.

More information about running Firefox in fullscreen mode can be found in the Use Firefox in Full Screen mode documentation.

If you aren't running in fullscreen mode, try running Firefox in Safe Mode. This is a troubleshooting mode that temporarily disables installed addons, certain settings and hardware acceleration to ensure that these are not causing the issue.

Nope, it's not in fullscreen mode, but I'll try running it in safemode

The missing taskbar sounds like a O/S problem. The only time it should hide is if you choose the auto hide option. Otherwise you got O/S problems happening.
