I like Firefox Quantum however the cookie management is dismal. I seem to remember that early versions of Firefox had cookie management that was straightforward and allowed easy choosing of what to keep or discard. Not so with Quantum. Is there an easy way to manage the cookies all at same time in one session from a listing that makes sense? The existing cookie listing of what is stored is very generic and doesn't make it easy to determine what the cookie is. The add on extensions that are available to manage cookies are not compatible with Quantum. Version 59.0b4 (64 bit) on a Windows 7 (64 bit) machine.

I'm not sure I understand what you mean. The Cookies dialog should list every site that has set a cookie, and then under the site, you can view every cookie by name and if you click that, see its contents.

Perhaps it would be more usable to select and copy the following obscure internal address, open a new tab, paste it to the address bar, and press Enter to load it:

chrome://browser/content/preferences/cookies.xul

As others mentioned cookie management is abysmal. (good example) WHen Webmail hangs and crashes it is often better to clear out any cookies related, but the job is made a harder (disaster) when nothing in the cookie library is in alphabetical order. Many server sites use second names for security, related to webmail management and to do the reset, one has to clear these cookies too. Please do an alphabetical list of them ! It would be soo much easier.

Hi richwalters, which dialog are you using to view cookies? In Firefox 61, when you click the "Manage Data" button on the Options/Preferences page to call up the Cookies and Site Data list, you can sort by site by clicking the "Site" column heading. They are grouped and sorted by domain, which is hard to explain in words, but you'll see what I mean when you review the list.

I am viewing cookies as per FF options/privacy_security /manage data. On my version of Quantum 61, there is no way of organizing them. or at least it isn't not obvious. The alternative is to go through the windows sys but that's an unnecessary awkward route to a simple issue.

Hi richwalters, mine shows a sort triangle (see attached screenshot) and I can choose a different sort column by clicking a different column heading, and different sort order by clicking that heading a second time. Does yours work that way?

Yes, spotted triangle but no sign of cookies being sorted out. Maybe best just to 'clear all' and restart. Thanks rJ
