I might donate, but now you are tracking my use and I will not donate.
I'm very unhappy that you are now tracking my internet use. I do not want you to presume that you can improve my "experience". Just let me have efficient use of the internet. I have assumed, wrongly it appears, that an open source organization would not resort to tracking my use. Isn't this against the principle of the open source community, to use my information without my knowledge and out of my control. Please stop tracking my internet use.

Mozilla doesn't track your internet usage. Can you maybe tell me where you heard that because that is incorrect.
You can find the Data Choices here:
- Tools > Options > Advanced > Data Choices
Currently there are:
- Telemetry
- Firefox Health Report
- Crash Reporter

Mozilla announced that it would track my usage. In the Tools and Options I can choose to disable the tracking of my "use".
The things you can disable aren't tracking your usage, they are tracking things like how Firefox runs (performance, crashes, etc.) and stuff like settings and add-ons. This helps us know how users are using Firefox so we can improve the experience for all users. We do not track the websites you visit or what you see on the internet.
