I updated Firefox 33.0.3 on a PC running vista. At the top of the browser, above and behind the tabs..is this hideous graphic with stars. A purple back round and fuchsia colored stars. How can I make this go away...and just choose a solid color..?

Thanks so much for your help...theroadisalover

Chosen solution

Sounds that you installed a light-weight theme (Persona).

You can uninstall your current Theme/Persona and revert to the Default theme (Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

It sounds like an Appearance Add-on.

Type about:addons<Enter> in the address bar to open your Add-ons Manager. Hot key; <Control>(Mac:<Command>)<Shift> A)

In the Add-ons Manager, on the left, select Appearance.
