Chosen solution

1) You should update to at least Firefox 3.6.24 as there are MANY KNOWN SECURITY issues with the version you are running.

2) The light version is required on non-IE browsers, unless you are running Exchange Server 2010. With Exchange 2010 they added support for more browsers to run in the 'non-light' version

Hi Tim, thanks for your answer, the problem persists, at home on my computer, I have Firefox 8.0.1 Swedish version, Snow Leopard 10.6.8 and it's Hosted Exchange 2010. I still can't push off the light version box, do you have any other suggestions.

Thanks Madeleine

Out of curiosity, go to https://west.exch027.serverdata.net/owa and see if it detects that you can access the full version (this is another hosted exchange site).
