I used the recommended web site to get my updated flash player. When I open My add-ons list it says I have Shockwave Flash 10.0.452 loaded and enabled, also Shockwave for directors 11.56.606 loaded and enabled.as well as Adobe Acroboat 9.32.163 loaded and enabled. When I try to load and play a game on facebook I am told my flashplayer needs to be updated.

Try reinstalling Flash from http://www.get.adobe.com/flashplayer. Or make sure that the Add-Ons Blocklist is not installed as that could block access to Flash

~~red:Blocklist~~ The add-ons blocklist is not blocking Adobe Flash. Here is the current blocklist: https://www.mozilla.com/en-US/blocklist/ What the blocklist does: https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Add-ons+Blocklist

~~red:More Information requested~~ You appear to have the most recent version of Adobe Flash (ver. 10.0.45.2)

Do you have a Flash blocking add-on like NoScript or FlashBlock?

You can post a reply with all of your extensions by following these instructions and pasting the results in your reply: Use the Troubleshooting Information page to help fix Firefox issues

Also include your user-agent in your reply; Help > About Mozilla Firefox. Copy and paste the entire user-agent. It will look something like this (yours may be longer/have more items:

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2.3) Gecko/20100401 Firefox/3.6.3

Do you have only one Flash plugin listed in Tools > Add-ons > Plugins Such an error can be caused by the presence of an older Flash plugin that is installed in the plugins folder in the Firefox program folder.
