Thunderbird autoloaded a new update today. Later, after I sorted the received email by "from" category, NOTHING WORKS! It does not show any emails when I click on them, it does not allow me to go back to sort by time received (it used to do that instantly!), I can't switch to "sent" emails, I can't pull up Thunderbird menu. I tried a cold restart of my computer (Dell Inspiron 3147 with Win8.1) and noting works! All it does is show "Welcome to THUNDERBIRD, donate ... etc" message.
