I updated to Firefox 11 on Mac Lion and then somehow it went back to 10. Now most Amazon.com pages will finish loading, but not according to Firefox. The tab title will say "connecting..." and it will have the swirling circle and it never gets out of that status. I went back to an old version and the problem goes away. I updated back to 11 beta and applied current updates and it still happens. So this must be a 10+ issue only. This happens on like 70% of amazon product pages or the home page. I also tried disabling all add-ons.

Thanks for reporting this issue. I will see if there has been a bug filed for this yet if not I will file one. Thanks. Have a great day!

One more piece of information that might be relevant...

Amazon.com is actually rolling out a new website design change. When I cleared my cookies it actually showed me a brand new site design. But the next time I cleared it, the page went back to their old design. They must be using cookies to test a small user base before they roll out the new design. I don't know if that is related to the bug, but I wasn't able to reproduce this on another Mac using Firefox. I also didn't see it occur on Chrome, Safari or IE on Windows. So its pretty strange.

Same thing. Amazon tabs only. Very irritating. Windows 7, FF 10.0.1
