firefox will NOT open with previous tabs even though I have checked that option. I get only the home page tab.
Upgraded to 4.0.1 and add ons, colors lost as well as ability to keep tabs that were set the night before. I have checked the option to open with last set tabs but it will not do so. The last version did NOT have this problem.

Make sure that you do not use Delete browsing, search and download history on Firefox to clear the 'Browsing History' when you close Firefox.
Firefox 4 saves the previous session automatically, so there is no longer need for the dialog asking if you want to save the current session.
You can use "Firefox > History > Restore Previous Session" to get the previous session at any time.
There is also a "Restore Previous Session" button on the default about:home Home page.
Thanx a lot for your reply. I was so frustrated by this I had given up and went back to version 3 which works a lot better and faster. V4 was continually locking up besides my not being able to keep the tabs open. I thought my DSL was at fault but v3 has put me back where I was and I am satisfied now. Again, thanx for your efforts. I have learned to not follow suggestion to upgrade without waiting to see what others say. The search results are loaded with complaints similar to mine about v4.
