Why isn't Firefox redirecting to anotherscreen when I click on a link?

When I am viewing a web page or email and come upon a link that I want to view, when I click on the link a bar drops down. It says "Firefox has prevented this page from redirecting to another page.", then I have to click to view the other page. This is happening with every link I click on.

This happened

Every time Firefox opened

== After I did a clean reinstall of Firefox

It's possible you have turned on the option that causes Firefox to do this. Go to the Advanced panel - Accessibility, browsing, network, updates, and other advanced settings in Firefox. On the General tab, look at Warn me when websites try to redirect or reload the page and clear it if it's checked.

Please reply here on whether that helps. Even if you have this option set, Firefox shouldn't be doing this on every link, only on ones that are defined as redirects. So, there might be something else going on.
