Merging some, but not all Inboxes

I have multiple email addresses, and I would like to group the inboxes by use (work, leisure, spam,..).

In particular, suppose I have three email addresses and would like a merged view of the first two, but not the third. How can I achieve this? Is there an add-on? (I couldn't find one.)

The best solutions I came up with:

- make a filter that moves all emails from the 1st to the 2nd inbox, and just look at the second inbox. - forward all mail - make a filter that moves all emails in the 3rd inbox to a subfolder, such that it doesn't appear in the unified inbox

All of these have drawbacks.. Specifically, I would like to reply to the emails using the email address they were sent to, which becomes cumbersome if I actually move emails from the 1st to the 2nd inbox. Moving all emails away from the 3rd inbox kinda works, but I don't like it, because it makes things awkward for other reasons. Any help is appreciated!

how about moving all mails of 1 and 2 to an 'Inbox' folder in Local Folders then ?

Thanks for the suggestion, gp. Indeed this would work if I had only one computer, but if I remove the emails from the server, I can't access them anymore on other devices.

I don't think you can merge 2 mailboxes (Inbox) while using Imap. After all, unified view don't really merge mailboxes either, it's only displaying all the Inboxes in a single virtual folder. Sharing a single file can be done easily, but with Pop3. I don't see how 2 Imap Inboxes on 2 different servers could be merged. It seems insane to manage, as if Imap with a single server was a breeze all by itself. Try forward instead.
