Netflix Ad
An audio ad for Netflix plays numerous times a day. It only happens when I'm using Firefox browser. It's a computerized voice like "Cortana". It's talks over other apps like You Tube and Napster which is very irritating, especially since I'm already a member of Netflix. I'm really sick of hearing it and consider it an invasion of my privacy. I contacted Netflix helpline and they said they knew nothing about it even though it's an ad for their services. Also, nothing shows on my Task Manager when it's playing to help determine it's source. Somebody..........PLEASE HELP!!!!

You might try installing the following extension temporarily. If you have too many tabs open, it can help you identify tabs that are generating sound:
https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/sound-control/
This would help in figuring out whether it is an ad in a web page.
Speaking of add-ons, though, perhaps one of those is the problem. You can view, disable, and often remove unwanted or unknown extensions on the Add-ons page. Either:
- Ctrl+Shift+a (Mac: Command+Shift+a)
- "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
- type or paste about:addons in the address bar and press Enter/Return
In the left column of the Add-ons page, click Extensions. On the right side, find the "Manage Your Extensions" heading.
If there is at least one extension before the next heading -- "Recommended Extensions" -- please continue:
Then cast a critical eye over the list below that heading. Any extensions Firefox installs for built-in features are hidden from this page, so everything listed here is your choice (and your responsibility) to manage. Anything suspicious or that you just do not remember installing or why? If in doubt, disable (or remove). For your privacy and security, don't let mystery programs linger here.
Any improvement?
