I accidentally said "Never show again" for in-browser Firefox Monitor alerts. How do I undo this?

A Firefox Monitor alert came up on a forum, but I didn't want it to show up for that website again. However, I managed to accidentally click on "Never show Firefox Monitor alerts" when I do want to see them. I looked through all the options I could find but couldn't find any to undo this. Any help?

Did you check the notification settings in Options/Preferences?

  • Options/Preferences -> Privacy & Security -> Permissions > Notifications

Sorry for the long wait, didn't have access to my computer. I just checked that, and Firefox Monitor isn't in the list. As well as this, it wasn't like a conventional notification, it was like a "Do you want to save this password?" popup except for Firefox Monitor.

If you selected Never on a password save prompt then you created a block exception, so you need to remove the exception in the Password Manager.

No, I didn't press it on a password save notification. I pressed it on a Firefox Monitor notification, telling me there had been a breach on the website I was visiting.

This still sounds like a Push notification like I posted earlier.

I assume that you would still get an email when a breach is detected.

Yeah, I assume I would still get the email, but I've checked those options and that article and it isn't there.

Maybe you didn't create a block exception if they do not show in Options/Preferences.

You can check the settings for Cookies and Send Notifications in "Tools -> Page Info -> Permissions" to see if they show as an allow exception if you visit the Monitor website.

I can't get on my computer right now, but I'll check tomorrow and get back to you.

The Monitor website had nothing outside of the defaults (so Always Ask for most things), but just to be safe I set Notifications to Allow and visited two websites I knew it should notify me about. I didn't get any notification. I'm just gonna leave it, since I already get emails from both Firefox Monitor and its data source anyway. Thank you for your help!
