Ok i I am having issues transferring emails from an old pop mail account on Thunderbird to imap account On Thunderbird. when trying to copy folders that have sub folders of messages with large numbers of emails, some emails do not get transferred. I have done some research and I’ve seen similar people posting issues over four to six years ago with same issues. is there a simpler way to do this it will take me weeks to fill in missing emails that firefox did not copy? i have tried drag drop method, and copy folder plugin with similar issues....

PLEASE HELP!

Are you doing the moving of emails whilst in 'Offline' mode? In offline mode there is no synchronising of imap mail accounts to interfer with a lengthy process.

Try it out and see if emails are transfering.

Suggest you create a backup of profile beforehand. Method I use: create folder(s) on imap account Make sure the folders are subscribed. Make sure the imap accounts 'Account Settings' > 'Synchronisation & Storage' has 'Message Synchronising checkbox selected to 'keep messages for this account on this computer'. Go into offline mode. Select folder. Highlight all emails 'Ctrl + A' use right click 'Copy to' and select imap folder. When a few folders are done, I go back to online mode and check all gets uploaded to server. Then go back to offline mode and repeat copy to action.
