not responding
Firefox updated to latest and now not respond and hangs. Once press X to close and check task manager firefox is in the background list using 0% of CPU/Mem.
I have uninstalled and deleted folders of the 64bit and 32bit but both have same issues.
Have reset firefox and even deleted profiles and still same issue.
I have updated firefox to my laptop and work computer and no issues so must be PC related but not sure what else to look for.
Only thing is my Kaspersky is the one that updated firefox for me and installed it without me knowing til after it was done. and I have tried disabling anti-virus.

Some problems occur when your Internet security program was set to trust the previous version of Firefox, but no longer recognizes your updated version as trusted. Now how to fix the problem: To allow Firefox to connect to the Internet again;
- Make sure your Internet security software is up-to-date (i.e. you are running the latest version).
- Remove Firefox from your program's list of trusted or recognized programs. For detailed instructions, see

If there is still a problem Firefox v58 may have problems on your system.
Install Older Version Of Firefox {web link} Be sure to read everything here.
If you still want to downgrade, look under; I still want to downgrade. Click the Directory of other versions and languages link. Look for the directory of the version that you want. But, remember that old versions may have security issues.
