"Kaspersky Protection could not be verified for use in FireFox and has been disabled" "Kasp.Protection 4.6.2.23.1 disabled" What does this mean?
After this morning's FF update, I got this message. Has FF disabled my anti-virus?
Clicking on the "more information" link gets me to the page https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/add-on-signing-in-firefox?as=u&utm_source=inproduct
I do not understand what this all means. Can somebody please explain it in terms suited to the meanest understanding?

Make sure it's up to date.
Enter about:config into your Firefox address bar Click the I'll be careful button Find xpinstall.signatures.required in the list Right click the preference Select Toggle until the value is false
The Kaspersky extension needs to be signed.
A workaround to try for Firefox 43.0 until Kaspersky fixes their extension is to type about:config in Location (address) bar. Filter for xpinstall.signatures.required and double-click the preference, or right-click and selected "Toggle", to set it to false.
The completely separate Kaspersky anti-virus software is not touched in any way and should still be functioning normally.
