When I'm pinning (Pinterest) something, why doesn't the option to also tweet it show up in the pin box anymore?
Pinterest: When I used to pin images and the pinning box popped up, it would have a checkbox for twitter. If you clicked on the checkbox, your pin would also go as a tweet besides being pinned. Now there is no tweeting option in the pin popup box anymore. There are only 2 buttons: Pin or Cancel. Why isn't the Twitter option there anymore?

Thanks for the suggestion but I did that first and re-synced my Pinterest just to make sure. I also asked someone who's huge into social media and Pinterest and he's not having the same issue. This doesn't seem to be a Pinterest issue.
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).
- Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window or otherwise make changes.
I appreciate your instructions. I tried it and didn't see anything out of the ordinary and nothing about Pinterest. I tried pinning afterwards and the twitter button still doesn't appear. Thank you for your time. There's obviously something I'm missing.
On the page where I edit the description I have a checkbox for Facebook, but not for Twitter. Maybe this is related to changes in Twitter policies, or my account settings?? I do get a Twitter button on the success page. (Since I never use Twitter, and hardly ever use Pinterest, this is not something I would remember from before.)
By the way, do you get a different set of options in Internet Explorer?
IE won't even let me add the Pin button to a toolbar so I can't even use Pinterest in IE.
I don't have those options. :(
Hi kgshopping, in IE, right-click the center of the Pin It button and choose Add to Favorites. OK the dialog saying this might be a dangerous bookmark. Then for the folder, choose Links (the Links bar). Screen shot attached.
I think for questions about how the pinning screen works, you might need to check with Pinterest. It might have something to do with your account setup. They also might require that some cookies be present for those other services (I haven't researched it in detail).
FYI I have the same problem with Google Chrome but it showed up after the string of email above. I could do this as recently as the end of May 2013.
