This page should display normally. Now it does not, and AOL prompts me to use a "basic" legacy version of the application.

I contacted AOL Support. The AOL Support technician directed me to try with a different browser or on a different machine. The problem is the same with Internet Explorer 8 on Windows 7, but it does not occur on a different machine on Windows XP. I updated all plugins. I checked the Firewall, but it has not changed and seems not to be the problem. I disabled AdBlockPlus. No effect. I installed the AOL toolbar, as an attempt to resolve the problem. That did not resolve the problem. I have seen no forum ideas that pertain to this problem.

Try to set the gfx.content.azure.enabled pref to false or if this didn't help disable Direct2D by setting the gfx.direct2d.disabled pref to true on the about:config page and leave hardware acceleration otherwise enabled.

I ended up resetting FF and so far that resolved the issue, although I had to re-install my add-ons, reconfigure start pages, etc. I am going to save this approach for the next time it happens. Thank you for taking the time to help me.
