Firefox won't load certain websites, so I need to install an earlier version.
I've used the public forums on those websites to get support, and most people say that installing Firefox 14.01 will fix the problem. Where can I go to install Firefox 14.01? I'd prefer installing it here, on Mozilla.org, rather than going to a less reliable site.

Thanks! This fixed all the problems I was having.
The website I was having problems with was Kongregate, a gaming site that has a chat window beside each game. The game was loading, but not the chat window. Also, game achievements were connected to the chat, and I wasn't earning the achievements when I should have been.

Yes you may download Firefox 14 from an official Mozilla Firefox site see
- Install an older version of Firefox that does warn you about security risks and not to do it, but then includes a download link.
There will almost certainly be better fixes or workarounds to almost any problem than using an insecure Firefox 14. (Bar changes to how some web pages look, I can not immediately think of anything that gets fixed by downgrading to firefox 14, other than the usual problems with incompatible extensions that take a while before they are updated )
Personally I would suggest for a knowledgeable user a better solution is to go to the other extreme and run Firefox Beta as standard, and only downgrade to the secure Release if a problem occurs. (That philosophy does not work if you rely on security related binaries - but the majority of users are on legit Windows systems and can make use free MS software anyway.)
What problems are you having ?

Glad to have helped.
The problem with private sites is that we are unable to troubleshoot the problems there without becoming members. There may well be a better solutions than sticking with Firefox 14.
One solution if you do find that is necessary to use fx14 for gaming you may be to downloading and use Firefox portable:
You should be able to get a Firefox 14 version, Use that for the problem gaming site. For all your other day to day browsing use an updated and secure version fx15 or whatever is current (It will update to Firefox 16 in about a weeks time).
Note Firefox portable may be installed as a separate additional browser.
