Firefox crashed, I reinstalled and now when I use a new tab for an address I cannot get it to load by clicking Enter. How do I enable this?

When I begin typing in the address my history enters the correct address but the only way I get it to load is to hit the arrow button in the address bar. I want to be able to hit enter

Hey Susan-MPC,

Have you tried starting Firefox in Safe Mode? Hold down "shift" while Firefox is starting up. It might be related to an extension. Then you should read Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems.

I see you are running an older version of Firefox as well. You might want to consider updating. There are a lot of benefits to running the newest version of the browser.

Hopefully this helps!
