every time I try to set my homepage bearshare keeps coming up how do I get rid of it

I had bearshare installed and deleted it from my account but ever since I installed firefox The bearshare search engine keeps coming up even when I try to change the homepage how do I get rid of it By the way firefox is great

Firefox can contain more than one home page, be sure to check that only one is listed in your settings.
