I have tried everything in your troubleshooting section as well as faq and still having this problem. Its weird, on some web sites half a banner will load (when a banner is more than one image file) and as well as image listed on said page. I tried the site in internet explorer and it load fine. It happens in other sites as well. I'm at a loss...

Do you have ad blocking enabled? If so is the second image in a block list?

I don't have ad blocking.

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

In Firefox 4 Safe mode disables extensions and disables hardware acceleration. If disabling hardware acceleration works then check if there is an update available for your graphics display card driver.

  • Tools > Options > Advanced > General > Browsing: "Use hardware acceleration when available"

In Firefox 4 you can use one of these to start in Safe mode:

  • Help > Restart with Add-ons Disabled
  • Hold down the Shift key while double clicking the Firefox desktop shortcut (Windows)
